寿源寺

四百年、この町と。

寿源寺が、
この油良の地に建てられたのは、
1615年のこと。

それから、
四百年あまり。

昭和18年、
大雨による裏山の

土砂崩れによって

本堂は倒壊しました。

その瓦礫の中で、
本尊の阿弥陀さまは
立っていたといいます。

その後、修復され

今も本堂で

私たちを見守っています。

建物は変わっても、

阿弥陀さまは変わらずここにいる。

形を変えながら、
この町とともに四百年。

そして、これからも。

Jugenji Temple
was built here in Yura
in 1615.

Since then,
more than four hundred years
have passed.

In 1943,
heavy rain caused a landslide
on the hill behind the temple,
and the main hall collapsed.

Among the rubble,
the temple’s principal image,
Amida Buddha,
is said to have remained standing.

It was later restored,
and still watches over us
from the main hall today.

The buildings may have changed,
but Amida Buddha remains here.

Changing its form,
Jugenji Temple has been part of this town
for more than four hundred years.

And it will continue to be.
